Installation

tinyPM can be downloaded in two kinds of distributions:

as a web application (WAR file) to be installed in your application server
as a standalone application bundled with Tomcat 6.0.18 and HSQLDB

tinyPM webapp (WAR file)

This is a recommended distribution for a usage in the production environment where you have a full control over your server and database installation. It's also good if you already use different Java applications and want to host tinyPM on the same machine.

Installation process is a bit longer than in standalone edition, but this one is more maintainable at the end.

Follow one of the installation instructions below to install tinyPM as a webapp:

tinyPM standalone

This distribution is mainly for evaluation purposes. The installation process is quick and does not require any server administration skills. You will have tinyPM up and running in few minutes, but it's harder to maintain this kind of installation. It's also currently Windows only.
